Special Project

Indian Network for Sane AI

We are a collection of professionals, independent researchers, and concerned citizens coming together to collectively sensemake the direction AI is going.

Illustrated landscape connecting technical research, civic institutions, and groups of people around a shared center.

Why this exists

AI is a socio-technical problem.

The question is not only what a model can do. It is also who builds and funds it, which institutions absorb its failures, who gets represented or excluded, and what kinds of agency remain possible around it.

India needs spaces where technical and governance perspectives can meet early, without requiring everyone to join the same camp. This network is a container for that work: curious, rigorous, plural, and willing to update.
